The ten House of Amranth tins hung from a tree above a Darjeeling tea garden

The Collection

Ninesingle-gardenteas.Oneblend.Everytinnamedtoitssource.

Each style is a promise the house keeps every season. Where a tin holds one garden's leaf, its garden and harvest are named on the tin.

The house buys against the harvest. A single-estate style is filled when its lot is selected — the monsoon green and the autumn chinary are being selected now; first flush follows in March.

The collection, placed by taste.

Each tea, plotted by its own character — not a survey. Follow a dot to its page.

Placed by taste, not by survey — each dot is one tin, named to its source.

The atlas, listed.

First Flush

Spring Chinary Black

Poured, it is almost spring itself — pale gold, a lift of peach and white flowers, and a finish that leaves the palate cleaner than it found it.

Spring Clonal Black

A perfumed cup — muscat blossom over fresh greens — with the fine, dry finish that marks a well-made first flush.

Spring Moonshine Oolong

White flowers and honeydew, a texture close to cream — a tea to drink slowly, and then again.

White Wonder · Silver Needle

Pale champagne in the cup, white blossom and honey in the nose — a tea that rewards a longer steep and a quieter room.

Second Flush

Summer Chinary Black

A deep amber cup of ripe peach, dried plum and soft wood spice — summer, kept whole in the leaf.

Summer Muscatel Black

Muscat grape, cinnamon and hazelnut, a deep amber body, and the long finish that no other origin has convincingly imitated.

Moonlight Summer White

White peach and muskmelon — a summer afternoon, poured pale straw.

Monsoon Flush

Darjeeling Green Tea

Fruity, fresh vegetal notes with a soft, sweet middle — the hillside before the season has touched it.

Autumn Flush

Autumn Chinary Black

Red-coppery, smooth and quietly spiced, with a greenish edge — the year's last light, kept in a tin.

Specialty

Darjeeling Signature Blend

Muscatel and honey over ripe orchard fruit — balanced, amber and unmistakably Darjeeling.

Every leaf, poured as the house does.
