The House

Rooted in the mist of the Himalayas.

House of Amranth is the orthodox tea house of Dharamraj Botanica LLP — an Indian botanical house rooted in the country's plant heritage. The house was founded on a frustration and a promise: that most tea, even expensive tea, cannot tell you where it came from — and that ours always would.

Every tea we carry is traceable to a named, GI-registered Darjeeling garden and a dated harvest. We do not buy on the open market. We select at origin, season by season, from gardens whose work we can stand behind by name.

The Founders

House of Amranth was founded in 2025 by Manjusha Raghav and Yashashvini Rathore — a mother-in-law and her daughter-in-law, two generations of one family. The house they built holds to a single discipline above all others: every tin names its garden and dates its harvest.

Provenance

Teas sourced direct from named Darjeeling gardens, with full traceability to their hillside.

Craft

Orthodox, whole-leaf production — rolled, not torn — to preserve aroma, oils and nuance.

Honesty

Genuine Darjeeling origin, GI-certified, presented exactly as the season delivered it.

The Non-Negotiables

Quality without
compromise.

01

Orthodox, whole-leaf

Rolled, never crushed — the slow craft that preserves the leaf's delicate oils and aromatics.

02

High-grade only

Finest leaf grades, hand-sorted — selected for character, clarity of cup and consistency, lot by lot.

03

Season by season

From First Flush freshness to Muscatel depth — each harvest presented as its own story, never averaged.
